Editorial Policy

This policy explains how the lessons, guides and provider profiles on ForexBrokers101 are produced, what standards they are held to, and how commercial relationships are kept apart from them.

Educational standards

Lessons and guides are written to teach, not to sell. Each opens with a direct answer, explains the mechanism, gives a worked example where numbers are involved, and states plainly where the standard practice sits, such as risking one percent per trade. We do not promise returns, recommend strategies as profitable, or describe trading as anything other than a high-risk activity most people lose money at.

Provider research and source hierarchy

Broker facts come from a shared research database maintained from, in order of authority: regulators' own registers and publications; the provider's legal documents such as client agreements and product disclosures; the provider's published pricing and terms; and, last, secondary sources. Where two sources disagree on a commercial figure we publish the lower one. Prop-firm records follow the same hierarchy with the firm's terms of service and published payout information in place of regulatory filings.

Accuracy and updates

Provider figures carry the date they were last checked and are reviewed on a schedule and whenever a reader or provider reports a change. Educational content is reviewed when a market convention or a regulation changes. The corrections policy explains how errors are reported and fixed.

Commercial relationships and independence

We earn affiliate commissions from many providers we cover. Providers do not pay to be listed, do not review content before publication, and cannot buy a score or a ranking position. A provider with no commercial relationship is profiled on the same terms as one with. Any sponsored placement introduced in future will be labelled.
